101- Request for Interpretation of the Judgment of 11 June 1998 in the Case concerning the Land and Maritime Boundary between Cameroon and Nigeria

Following the Judgment of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the case 094- Land and Maritime Boundary between Cameroon and Nigeria (Cameroon vs Nigeria) on June 11, 1998, the Republic of Nigeria has filed in the Registry of the Court a request for interpretation of certain points of the judgment, especially those relating to incidents involving the international responsibility of the State.

In its response in the judgment of March 25th, 1999, the Court stated that it had already ruled on certain points raised by the applicant and that the other allegations had not yet been presented to Cameroon. In any event, the Court stated that it could not examine the points raised by Nigeria and had no choice but to declare the request for interpretation inadmissible.
