017- Minquiers and Ecrehous (France vs UK)

On December 6th, 1951, France and the United Kingdom submitted to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) a Special Agreement signed by the two states asking the Court the question of which of the two parties had sovereignty over the groups of islets of Minquiers and Ecrehous according to the titles presented.

After presenting the various titles, the Court concluded that the islands belonged to England.
