006- Protection of French Nationals and Protected Persons in Egypt (France vs Egypt)
Following measures that it considered unfairly severe against its protected nationals and persons, France brought an action against Egypt before the International Court of Justice (ICJ). However, the case was decided without the Court having to rule, as the Government of Egypt lifted the contested measures. France therefore renounced to continue the proceedings and the case was removed from the role by an order dated March 29th, 1950.
